Berkeley Varatronics, a producer of security products, came to us looking for a solution for a “walk through” cell phone detection system to be installed in buildings where mobile phones are not allowed — prisons, courtrooms, or government facilities.
After extensive discussion with the customer to establish their unique needs, our Bopla engineers created the Alubos 600 — a custom-length enclosure that was taller and longer than our standard one-meter length enclosure.
Berkeley Varatronics has continued to reorder, and the product — which they have named the SentryHound — is now offered in their standard product line and has become the perfect compliment for teams looking to secure concert halls, courtrooms, government facilities, and many more public and private areas from cell phones, knives, and guns.
